Berger brothers win card competition

The artistic talents of two Narromine brothers have won them awards in Dubbo MP Troy Grant’s Christmas Card Competition.

Mr Grant arrived at St Augustine’s to award Zerek and Zamael Berger with their prizes.

Zerek won the premier’s competition so his card will now be sent out to all the National MPs around the state as Mr Grant’s Christmas Card.

Zamael received a highly commended.

Mr Grant thanked the hundreds of students who entered the competition.

“It’s never an easy decision, with so many wonderful entries. Everyone did an amazing job and I want to thank each and every student that took the time to colour in,” he said.

First place went to a student from Geurie Public School, second place went to a student from Parkes Public School and third place went to a student from Mudgee Public School

Zamael was one of seven highly commendeds awarded around the electorate.

Both he and his brother are now proud owners of an Eftpos Gift Card.

Zamael said he would buy Lego with his gift card.

Zerek said he’ll just hold onto his.
