Rev-heads also have the chance to catch some high speed action after Christmas.
Sydney Speedway in Granville will host the Australian Sprint Car Grand Prix on Boxing Day, starting at 6pm.
More than 45 sprint cars will take to the racetrack, which features both Australian and international drivers, including Knoxville Track Champion Ian Madsen.
Other American sprint car drivers will feature in races on Boxing Day, including Jac Haudenschild, Tim Kaeding and Brad Sweet.
As well as sprint car events, Legend Car and AMCA (Australian Motor Contest Association) Nationals races will take place.
The night will also feature monster truck rides for the kids.
■Adult tickets $35, pension $25, juniors (13 to 15 years old) $20, children under 12 free, family pass $80.
