People are also welcome to volunteer on Christmas Day.
The event is run by Making a Difference for Christmas Charity and St. Vincent De Paul and sponsored by Parramatta City Council, Arab Bank, Bank of Queensland and Dial Before You Dig.
On Christmas Day they host a free lunch in Parramatta Town Hall from 10.30am-1pm for those less fortunate. The event is in its 14th year.
Lord Mayor of Parramatta Cr Scott Lloyd said he encouraged those who were able to assist to get on board.
“This is a wonderful initiative that seeks to ensure that those less fortunate in our community can still celebrate Christmas Day and feel that they are supported and appreciated,” Cr Lloyd said.
